Theater of States or Intensities: Poetics of Acting

The article analyzes the characteristics of the type of action proposed by the Theater of Intensities or States. The Theater of Intensities was inaugurated by the director of the Argentine theater Alberto Ure in the post dictatorship (decade of the '80s), while the Theater of States is a concept defended by the also director and Argentine teacher Ricardo Bartís. The continuity between both Theaters that assumes the work is formulated by Dr. Karina Mauro. The poetics of common action of this Theater of Intensities or States is reviewed and discussed in the work tribute to Eduardo "Tato" Pavlovsky Theater and Politics premiered in Buenos Aires in 2017, directed by Elvira Onetto and performed by Norman Briski and Ricardo Bartís himself.
