Scenery management: a subtle artistic role

Abstract

This paper aims at, on the one hand, presenting the very difficult to detect role of stage manager in the show biz industry which, in a certain way, has being smoothly changing the Portuguese theatre, and, on the other hand, revealing an obscure profession in the show biz industry that has an organizing role in theatre production offering new methods and dynamics to the demanding creative process of entertainment.
