Abstract

Over the last few years, several texts on a “new” kind of literature of “young” writers have begun to be published on blogs and cultural magazines. We will approach this “new” literature by studying how literary critics create their categories to apprehend this phenomenon. We will use the theory of fields by Pierre Bourdieu to analyze the following books: Los prisioneros de la torre. Política, relatos y jóvenes en la postdictadura by Elsa Drucaroff, Ficciones argentinas. 33 ensayos by Beatriz Sarlo, y Los gauchos irónicos y Juan Terranova. These are books that focus on the study of literary works published during the last decade, chosen because their authors represent different positions in the literary field.
